However, when I was researching the topic earlier - before I had obtained the standards - the ordering of phases came up as BROWN - BLACK - GREY respectively for 3 phases, in multiple sites such as: NOTE The sequence of colour codes in 6.2.3 is alphabetical, and does not indicate any preferred phasing or direction of rotation. In the recent versions of all of these standards line conductor coloring is given by BLACK, BROWN and GREY with clarification given as I've obtained different versions of the standard (2017 being the latest) and also IEC 60446, which was replaced.
